Life on the axis
Some people end up living not so much in one sector as on one of the nine paths across the board.
Particularly after many years lived in a chosen type – or many decades, not by choice, at the stress or security type – people may find their way home, but still maintain permanent access to the best gifts, and the occasional temptations, of the sector where they spent so very many years.
As just one example from many possibilities, a fighter-protector EIGHT may decide at some point that it is best to leave fighting behind for a while, and go to EIGHT’s contemplative stress type FIVE, perhaps for many years. Years later, this ‘chosen’ FIVE finds the personal sense of security to rediscover the directly engaged fighter-protector EIGHT within, and goes home to EIGHT – but this EIGHT never loses the accumulated wisdom and other gifts of those years spent at FIVE, or the occasional twinges of FIVE’s temptation, to hoard. Life’s journey has left this EIGHT with easy access to all the aspects of sectors EIGHT and FIVE. Home base is EIGHT, but life is lived on the EIGHT-FIVE axis.
