TWO (HEART + gut) Strategy: give and care Sensing needs, often reading people like a book. Corrupt TWOs can be smothering, demanding, manipulative. Redeemed TWOs can be unconditionally generous, self-giving, nurturing, caring for others’ body, mind, and soul. Temptations: pride – in the classic sense of self-importance; possessiveness Gifts: kindness, generosity Animals: licking puppy National stereotype: Italian mother In the Bible: Saint John, Mary Magdalene, Martha Paths to redemption: Admit own needs, and attend to them as well as others’. Let God take care of some needs. Make some symmetrical relationships. |
